Kevin’s work as vocal coach focusses strongly on connection to character and storytelling in tandem with vocal technique, NOT as two separate things. His history, studies and experiences with classical and musical theater techniques make him a valuable source when preparing, finessing, or recording literature.
Kevin has 12 years of experience teaching in the school systems as well as many years working as a teaching artist in both Musical Theater and Choral compacities. He has experience conducting massive All-City choral concerts, serving on curriculum writing boards as well as creating district wide programs to facilitate art in schools.
Kevin has also worked closely with Opera Omaha as a Ragazzi Chorusmaster, preparing children for their chorus roles in the following productions: TOSCA, TURANDOT, LA BOHÉME, CARMEN.
